About the Role

As our new People & Talent Partner, you’ll lead end-to-end recruitment, provide strategic advice to leaders and enhance our employer brand. Working closely with hiring managers and the broader People & Culture team, you’ll deliver inclusive, effective and future-focused talent solutions that align with organisational goals.

Key areas you will contribute

You’ll have autonomy to shape and improve talent practices while collaborating across departments to ensure consistency and impact.

You will:

  • Lead organisation-wide talent acquisition aligned with workforce needs and strategic priorities
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and attraction strategies
  • Enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience at every stage of recruitment
  • Manage executive and critical role recruitment which may include agency collaboration
  • Leverage branding to position RSPCA Queensland as an employer of choice
  • Use analytics to identify trends and improve recruitment performance
  • Drive inclusive hiring practices aligned to diversity and belonging goals
  • Champion ATS and process enhancements to streamline and automate recruitment
  • Collaborate on onboarding, systems activation and seamless onboarding experiences
  • Build capability by developing recruitment toolkits and training for managers

About You

You’ll be an innovative, people-focused recruitment professional with:

  • 5+ years' experience in end-to-end recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Strong strategic skills in workforce planning and employer branding
  • Experience managing senior/executive campaigns in complex settings
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Familiarity with recruitment technology, data analytics and continuous improvement
  • Commitment to inclusive and values-aligned hiring practices
  • Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine passion for animal welfare and connection to RSPCA Qld’s mission
